Looking at Gillian's expression, I can say that photo fatigue has set in! But she's off for her first nearly eight-hour day. It's going to be an adjustment for us all. She has a lot of great kids in her class, including the other 2 first-graders from our bus stop.
Below is our "traditional" first-day-of-school-standing-on-the-front-porch pic. What I think is pretty cool is that every year you can see how much taller she is against the front door and shingles.
