How you know the holidays are over:

• The living room feels very big, but very empty
• Every time you run the vacuum the house smells like pine
• You finally find a place for those Christmas presents
• You walk into a room in your house and suddenly notice another decoration that you haven’t put away
• When you walk into the stores, they are red and green again, but also pastel
• You finally throw away the last of the stale cookies and put away the tin(s) for next year
• You suddenly realize that you’re completely out of wine (except for that "special" bottle you’re saving)
• The new toys start breaking, or worse, are totally forgotten
