To celebrate their fiftieth wedding anniversary, Bernice & Ward took the whole clan to Split Rock Resort in Pennsylvania. It's a great family resort -- one part Dirty Dancing (charades lakeside) and one part Great Wolf Lodge (indoor water park). It's changed quite a bit since they honeymooned there, but was a good place for the family to spend Labor Day weekend.
While the weekend was not without incident, we did have some good times. The girls and I took a paddleboat out into Lake Harmony (man, were my legs tired after an hour of that!):
And they enjoyed the water park with their cousins.
Everyone also enjoyed our dinners together. We probably would have been asked to leave the main dining room!
So that was Labor Day weekend. I'll be catching up more soon, I promise.
